                  Does it really work?

Yes. It extracts the air from the bag in 5 seconds and the food stays sealed until you open it. The most visible change: fruit lasts three times longer in the refrigerator, and frozen proteins stop coming out with freezer burn. It's not magic, it's basic food preservation physics, but the first time you see it in your own kitchen, it looks like a trick.

Yes. They have a one-way valve that resists washing in warm soapy water. I've been using my first batch for over six months and they still work. When a bag finally wears out, you recycle it. Nothing like those plastic rolls you throw away after one use, where each new bag costs money—here you buy once and they stay with you.

It depends on what you're sealing. Dry products (coffee, granola, spices, bread): bags can go through 50+ cycles without issue. Something greasy (marinated meat, cheese): wash it well and they'll hold up. The simple rule: if the valve still seals, the bag still works.

Yes, with a trick: freeze the liquid first in a flat mold, then seal. If you try to seal it while it's liquid, the device pulls the liquid out along with the air and dirties the valve. This isn't unique to Avine—all vacuum sealers work this way.

A little, but less than a blender. It runs for about 5 seconds per bag and then goes quiet. It won't wake anyone up, and you can't hear it from the living room. The closest thing is a small handheld vacuum, turned on for an instant.

A full charge seals between 60 and 80 bags, depending on size. I charge mine once every two weeks because I meal prep on Sundays. It charges via USB-C, so any modern phone cable works.

No. It's wireless. You charge it with USB-C and then use it wherever you want—on the counter, inside the refrigerator, next to the freezer. That's why it fits in a normal drawer without tangled cables.

No. Ziploc bags don't have the one-way valve that allows the device to extract air without letting it back in. If you want to get the most out of the sealer, Avine bags are the piece that completes the system. That's why they come included in the kit and why they're reusable.

Yes. We ship to the United States. Delivery times vary depending on location, but every shipment is protected: if your package doesn't arrive, you don't lose your money. You get a tracking number as soon as it ships.

You have 60 days to return it. No strange questions, no long forms. You write to me, I send you the instructions, and I refund your money when the package arrives back. The reason is simple: if I paid for something and it didn't convince me, I'd expect to be able to return it too.

Three things. It's genuinely portable—fits in a drawer, no cable. The bags aren't a disguised consumable; they're part of the system and get reused. And behind the device is someone (me) who actually responds if something goes wrong. Buy a generic sealer from the marketplace and when it dies, you're on your own with a faceless seller's warranty. Not with me.
