Questions I get asked all the time

Yes. You seat the nozzle on the bag's white valve and switch it on: the air comes out and the plastic hugs the food. The valve only goes one way, so the air doesn't get back in. Where you notice it most is the freezer: meat stops coming out with those white freezer-burn patches.

Yes. They have a one-way valve that holds up to washing in warm soapy water. I'm still using the ones from my first pack. When a bag finally wears out, you recycle it. Nothing like the plastic rolls you toss after one use and keep buying again.

It depends on what you store and how you care for it. Dry things (coffee, granola, bread) barely wear it. Greasy things (marinated meat, cheese) need a good wash after. The rule is simple: as long as the valve still seals, the bag works.

Yes, with a trick: freeze the liquid first in a flat mold, then seal. If you try to seal it while it's liquid, the device pulls the liquid out along with the air and dirties the valve. This isn't unique to Avine—all vacuum sealers work this way.

A short hum, like a small handheld vacuum switched on for a moment. A few seconds per bag and it goes quiet.

One charge covers several sealing sessions; how many bags depends on their size. It charges over USB-C, so your phone cable works.

No. It's wireless. You charge it with USB-C and then use it wherever you want—on the counter, inside the refrigerator, next to the freezer. That's why it fits in a normal drawer without tangled cables.

No. Ziploc bags don't have the one-way valve that allows the device to extract air without letting it back in. If you want to get the most out of the sealer, Avine bags are the piece that completes the system. That's why they come included in the kit and why they're reusable.

Yes. At checkout you'll see if your address is covered and what shipping costs. Every package ships with a tracking number.

You have 60 days from delivery. If it arrives damaged, doesn't work right or you got the wrong item, write to me with your order number and a photo or short video, and we'll fix it: a replacement or your money back.

Three things. It's genuinely portable—fits in a drawer, no cable. The bags aren't a disguised consumable; they're part of the system and get reused. And behind the device is someone (me) who actually responds if something goes wrong. Buy a generic sealer from the marketplace and when it dies, you're on your own with a faceless seller's warranty. Not with me.
